Alright, here are some updates. Ive been all over the place with this thing and only putting in a couple hours or less at a time on it. Got the Terminator motor all torn down. Here it is all spread out on the table. IT looks like i only need one piston and im good...

Here is the Romeo(stock Terminator 03-04 cobra iron block) on the stand, and my Teksid(earlier Cobra/ Mark VIII aluminum block) i got in the mail on the floor. I weighed the two and the Aluminum block is SEVENTY TWO POUNDS lighter than the iron block. Thats pretty cool...

Factory Cobra/ Manley rods. Everything looks to be in great shape including the cobra crank...

The Teksid block looks the same except one missing bolt hole that needs to be drilled and tapped for the front cover. So thats pretty cool. I still need to buy a lot of pulleys, tensioners, accesories and stuff for the Cobra motor to work though. We decided not to spend $1000 on a Fuel Safe or ATL cell and instead we modified the oem tank. First, we cut it in half, then tonight i capped it off. Im going to order some bulkhead fittings and my Bosch 044 im going to use in tank tomorrow. I kept the passenger side of the gas tank to keep the weight even. IT holds about 7-8 gallons it looks like which is perfect. Ill be tacking a baffle into the floor of it around the pump and we're also going to try and get the oem level sender to work out.

Due to the oem steering column being real bulky and heavy i decided to use a circle track style steering shaft... which is really just a pc. of 3/4" dom tubing. Since i already had a sparco quick release, but it was for a bolt on style hub, Ray turned it down on the lathe to fit the OD of the new steering shaft/ column. It also has a notch in it to fit the ID of the tube so its centered when we weld it.

And the other day i made up some gussets for the cage to the chassis...
